How many guests can your venue accommodate?
It depends on the transportation arrangements and seating configurations. Contact us for more details.
What are the rules regarding music and DJs at the venue?
Amplified sound must not exceed 65 dBA at any time. We do not permit bands and sound levels will be monitored at the property boundary to ensure alignment with Town of Truckee municipal standards. Only DJs who have been specifically approved by Austin Ridge are permitted to perform at the property. We highly recommend a silent disco as an excellent option for guests to enjoy high-energy music while respecting our neighbors and local wildlife.
Do you offer overnight accommodations?
Yes, if you rent the entire property for the weekend, we can accommodate up to 20 guests comfortably. Additionally, there are 3 Airbnbs nearby that can sleep an additional 12-15 people each.
Important Note: Bathrooms are only available for guests renting the entire property for the weekend, not for ceremony and reception attendees only. This is to avoid overloading our septic system.
Do you have restrooms on-site?
We don't have indoor restrooms due to septic system limitations. However, we provide high-capacity Executive Washrooms and a professional attendant to maintain cleanliness and stock throughout the event. Do you offer on-site catering?
We don't provide catering services directly. However, we have two dedicated catering spaces: an outdoor kitchen and a pool house bar. We also have 220V hookups throughout the property for catering equipment.
You're welcome to choose your preferred caterer. The last wedding had their caterers park behind the house and set up a buffet-style service on the main lawn.
How much parking is available on-site?
Our property has parking for approximately 25 cars. To avoid guests driving under the influence, we recommend arranging shuttle services.
Do you have power and hookups for catering and tents?
Absolutely! We provide all the power and tie-downs needed for tents and catering equipment. Additionally, we have backup generators to ensure your event continues smoothly even if the power goes out.
Do you have audio/visual equipment?
Yes, we have a 65-inch big-screen TV and a Sonos outdoor speaker system perfect for your event's entertainment.
Do you provide trash removal?
Due to our location in active bear country, a 6-yard locking bear resistant bin is required for all events to ensure safety and sanitation. We order the bear bins in each event and request reimbursement of $400 (includes delivery and emptying). https://waste101.com/dumpster-rental/
